Asian Slaw with Crispy Tofu

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 4, thinly sliced
- Carrots - 2, shredded
- Cabbage - 1/2 head, shredded
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Extra firm tofu - 1 block, pressed and cubed
Let's Get Started
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until crispy and golden on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and minced garlic to make the dressing.
- Add the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and sliced green onions to the bowl. Toss well to combine with the dressing.
- Add the crispy tofu to the salad and toss again to combine.
- Sprinkle the salad with sesame seeds before serving.
