Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger and garlic and cook for a few more minutes.
  3. Add the meat to the pot and cook until it changes color.
  4. Add the tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the spices are well blended.
  5. Add the potatoes and enough water to cover the ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the meat and potatoes are tender and the flavors are well combined.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
