  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into evenly sized fries.
  3. Place the fries in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for 30 minutes. This helps remove excess starch and makes the fries crispier.
  4. Drain the fries and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  6. Add the dried fries to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  7. Place the seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; you may need to cook them in batches.
  8. Cook the fries in the air fryer for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  9. Once the fries are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and serve immediately.
  10. Optional: Sprinkle with additional salt or seasoning of your choice before serving.
