Aglio E Olio Sauce
Aglio e Olio is a classic Italian pasta sauce made with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Black pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1/2 cup
- Garlic - 4 cloves, thinly sliced
- Spaghetti - 12 ounces
Let's Get Started
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the garlic-infused oil.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
- Toss again to combine all the ingredients.
