Let's Get Started

  1. Cut the tofu into cubes and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Coat the tofu cubes in cornstarch.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan and fry the tofu cubes until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. In a separate pot, combine the dashi, soy sauce, and mirin and bring to a boil.
  5. Place the fried tofu in serving bowls and pour the dashi mixture over the top.
  6. Garnish with green onions, grated daikon radish, and bonito flakes before serving.
