Let's Get Started

  1. Drain the tofu and cut into cubes. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Coat the tofu cubes in cornstarch.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the tofu cubes until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. In a pot, combine the dashi stock, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  5. Place the fried tofu in serving bowls. Pour the hot broth over the tofu.
  6. Top with the green onions, grated daikon radish, and bonito flakes before serving.
