Udon with Wasabi Sauce

This udon noodle dish is served with a flavorful wasabi sauce that adds a spicy kick to the dish.

Ingredients

  • Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, thinly sliced
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Wasabi paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Udon noodles - 8 ounces

Instructions

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, wasabi paste, honey, and sesame oil to make the sauce.
  3. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the cooked udon noodles and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour the sauce over the noodles and toss to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
