Tinapa

This refreshing Tinapa Salad is made with smoked fish, fresh vegetables, and a tangy dressing.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Calamansi juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Cucumber - 1, sliced
  • Tomatoes - 2 medium, diced
  • Lettuce - 4 cups, torn
  • Tinapa (smoked fish) - 2 cups, flaked

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
  2. Add the flaked tinapa to the bowl and gently toss to combine.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the calamansi juice, fish sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Serve the Tinapa Salad chilled and enjoy!
