Swiss Chard and Roasted Garlic Quiche

This delicious quiche is filled with sautéed Swiss chard and roasted garlic, making it a flavorful and satisfying dish.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Grated parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Eggs - 4
  • Roasted garlic - 4 cloves
  • Swiss chard - 1 bunch, stems removed and leaves chopped
  • Pie crust - 1, store-bought or homemade

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a 9-inch pie dish. Trim any excess crust.
  3. In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the Swiss chard and sauté until wilted, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, roasted garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread the sautéed Swiss chard evenly over the pie crust.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the Swiss chard.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown on top.
  8. Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
