Sriracha Honey Mac and Cheese

A spicy and sweet twist on the classic mac and cheese, featuring a creamy cheese sauce, sriracha, and a touch of honey.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Sriracha - 2 tablespoons
  • Cheddar cheese - 2 cups, shredded
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • All - purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Macaroni - 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and stir until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the cheese until melted.
  5. Add the sriracha, honey, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni to the pot and stir until the macaroni is coated in the sauce.
  7. Serve the mac and cheese hot, with extra sriracha and honey on the side if desired.
