Salmon Cakes

These delicious salmon cakes are made with fresh salmon, breadcrumbs, and flavorful herbs and spices.

Ingredients

  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Green onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Fresh salmon - 1 lb, cooked and flaked

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked and flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions, dill, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the salmon cakes for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite sauce or side dish.
