Roast Lamb with Garlic and Rosemary

This succulent roast lamb is seasoned with garlic and rosemary for a flavorful and aromatic main course.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh rosemary - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Garlic cloves - 6, minced
  • Leg of lamb - 1 (5 to 7 pounds)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the leg of lamb in a roasting pan. Rub the garlic and rosemary mixture all over the lamb.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for approximately 1.5 hours, or until the lamb is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  5. Let the lamb rest for 15 minutes before carving and serving.
