This refreshing homemade ice cream is bursting with the flavors of ripe peaches and nectarines.

Ingredients

  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Whole milk - 1 cup
  • Heavy cream - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Ripe nectarines - 2
  • Ripe peaches - 4

Instructions

  1. Peel and pit the peaches and nectarines. Chop them into small pieces.
  2. In a blender or food processor, puree the peaches and nectarines until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the fruit puree, sugar, heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
