Nectarine Ice Cream

Ingredients

• Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• Whole milk - 1 cup
• Heavy cream - 1 cup
• Sugar - 1/2 cup
• Ripe nectarines - 4

Instructions

1. Peel and pit the nectarines, then chop them into small pieces.
2. In a blender or food processor, puree the nectarines until smooth.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the nectarine puree, sugar, heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up.
6. Serve the nectarine ice cream in bowls or cones and enjoy!
