This Parmesan crusted tilapia is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • Lemon wedges - For serving
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
  • Tilapia fillets - 4

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each tilapia fillet with the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the tilapia fillets and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the tilapia is cooked through and the crust is crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
