Parmesan Crusted Shrimp

These crispy and flavorful Parmesan crusted shrimp are perfect as an appetizer or main course.

Ingredients

  • Lemon wedges - For serving
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
  • Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each shrimp into the beaten egg, then coat it with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle the shrimp with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
