Oregano and Garlic Grilled Shrimp

These flavorful grilled shrimp are marinated in a mixture of oregano, garlic, and olive oil, then cooked to perfection on the grill.

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, juiced
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and chopped parsley.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the shrimp onto skewers, if desired, or place them directly on the grill grates.
  5. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque.
