Onion and Garlic Grilled Shrimp

These flavorful grilled shrimp are marinated in a delicious blend of onion and garlic, perfect for a summer barbecue.

Ingredients

  • Skewers - 4, soaked in water
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the chopped onion, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the soaked skewers.
  5. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve hot.
