Lavender and Vanilla Bean Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Baking powder - 2 teaspoons
  • All - purpose flour - 3 cups
  • Lavender extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla bean paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons
  • Eggs - 4 large
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Butter - 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract, vanilla bean paste, and lavender extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended.
