Larb is a traditional Thai salad made with ground meat, herbs, and spices. It is a flavorful and refreshing dish.

Ingredients

  • Lettuce leaves - For serving
  • Roasted rice powder - 2 tablespoons
  • Thai chili peppers - 2, thinly sliced
  • Green onions - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Fresh cilantro leaves - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Fresh mint leaves - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Red onion - 1/2 cup, thinly sliced
  • Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 3 tablespoons
  • Ground chicken or pork - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat until fully cooked and browned.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together lime juice and fish sauce.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground meat, red onion, mint leaves, cilantro leaves, green onions, Thai chili peppers, and roasted rice powder.
  4. Pour the lime juice and fish sauce mixture over the meat mixture and toss to combine.
  5. Serve the larb mixture on lettuce leaves.
