Korean Beef Bulgogi Wraps

These Korean beef bulgogi wraps are filled with marinated beef, fresh vegetables, and a flavorful sauce, all wrapped in a soft tortilla.

Ingredients

  • Tortillas - 4
  • Lettuce leaves - 8
  • Cucumber - 1, thinly sliced
  • Carrots - 2, julienned
  • Green onions - 4, thinly sliced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
  • Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced green onions. Mix well.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
  3. Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated beef for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  6. To assemble the wraps, place a lettuce leaf on each tortilla. Top with a few slices of cooked beef, julienned carrots, sliced cucumber, and any additional desired toppings.
  7. Drizzle with the remaining marinade or your favorite sauce.
  8. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up tightly.
