Ingredients

  • Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cheddar cheese - 1/4 cup, shredded
  • Tomato - 1, diced
  • Ham - 1/2 cup, diced
  • Eggs - 4

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced ham and cook for 2 minutes, until slightly browned.
  4. Add the diced tomato and cook for another 2 minutes, until softened.
  5. Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet, spreading them evenly.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the edges start to set.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over one half of the omelette.
  8. Fold the other half of the omelette over the cheese.
  9. Cook for another 2 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
  10. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
