Ingredients

  • Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cheddar cheese - 1/4 cup, shredded
  • Mushrooms - 1/2 cup, sliced
  • Ham - 1/2 cup, diced
  • Eggs - 4

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced ham and sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet, tilting the pan to spread the eggs evenly.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges of the omelette start to set.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over one half of the omelette.
  7. Using a spatula, fold the other half of the omelette over the cheese.
  8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
  9. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
