Fig and Ricotta Stuffed Figs with Walnut Crumble

These delicious stuffed figs are filled with creamy ricotta cheese and topped with a crunchy walnut crumble.

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons, melted
  • Oats - 2 tablespoons
  • Walnuts - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Ricotta cheese - 1/2 cup
  • Fresh figs - 8

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut off the stems of the figs and slice off the top to create a small opening.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese and honey.
  4. Spoon the ricotta mixture into each fig, filling them up.
  5. In another bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, oats, melted butter, and cinnamon to make the crumble topping.
  6. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the stuffed figs.
  7. Place the stuffed figs on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until the figs are soft and the crumble is golden brown.
