Fig and Prosciutto Wrapped Figs

These delicious fig and prosciutto wrapped figs are the perfect combination of sweet and savory.

Ingredients

  • Fresh basil leaves - 12
  • Balsamic glaze - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Goat cheese - 1/4 cup
  • Prosciutto slices - 6
  • Fresh figs - 12

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut a small slit in the top of each fig, about halfway down.
  3. Stuff each fig with a small amount of goat cheese.
  4. Wrap each fig with a slice of prosciutto, securing it with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Place the wrapped figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Drizzle the honey and balsamic glaze over the wrapped figs.
  7. Bake for 5 minutes, or until the prosciutto is crispy and the figs are softened.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  9. Garnish each fig with a fresh basil leaf.
  10. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
