Fig and Goat Cheese Tartlets

These delicious tartlets combine the sweetness of figs with the tanginess of goat cheese, all in a crispy tart shell.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Fresh thyme leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Honey - 2 tbsp
  • Goat cheese - 4 oz
  • Fresh figs - 6, sliced
  • Frozen puff pastry - 1 sheet, thawed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 6 equal squares.
  3. Place the puff pastry squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In the center of each square, spread a spoonful of goat cheese.
  5. Top the goat cheese with a few slices of fresh figs.
  6. Drizzle honey over the figs and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the tartlets cool for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Serve the fig and goat cheese tartlets warm as an appetizer or snack.
