Fig and Goat Cheese Tart

This delicious tart combines the sweetness of figs with the tanginess of goat cheese for a perfect balance of flavors.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Fresh thyme leaves - 1 tablespoon
  • Balsamic glaze - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh figs - 8, sliced
  • Goat cheese - 4 oz
  • Puff pastry - 1 sheet, thawed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and transfer it to a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the goat cheese evenly over the puff pastry.
  4. Arrange the sliced figs on top of the goat cheese.
  5. Drizzle the honey and balsamic glaze over the figs.
  6. Sprinkle the fresh thyme leaves, salt, and pepper over the tart.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the figs are soft.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Slice into squares or wedges and enjoy!
