Fig and Goat Cheese Crostini

These delicious crostini are topped with sweet figs, creamy goat cheese, and a drizzle of honey.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper - To taste
  • Salt - To taste
  • Fresh thyme leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Honey - 2 tbsp
  • Goat cheese - 4 oz
  • Fresh figs - 6
  • Baguette - 1

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  4. While the baguette slices are toasting, slice the figs into thin rounds.
  5. Spread a layer of goat cheese on each toasted baguette slice.
  6. Top each crostini with a few slices of figs.
  7. Drizzle honey over the figs and goat cheese.
  8. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves, salt, and black pepper over the crostini.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
