Fig and Blue Cheese Crostini

These delicious crostini are topped with sweet figs, creamy blue cheese, and a drizzle of honey.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper - To taste
  • Salt - To taste
  • Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Blue cheese - 4 oz, crumbled
  • Fresh figs - 6, sliced
  • Baguette - 1

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  4. Remove the toasted baguette slices from the oven and let cool slightly.
  5. Top each baguette slice with a few slices of fresh fig.
  6. Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese over the figs.
  7. Drizzle honey over the crostini.
  8. Sprinkle chopped fresh thyme, salt, and black pepper over the crostini.
  9. Place the crostini back in the oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
