These delicious figs are stuffed with a creamy feta cheese filling, creating a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.

Ingredients

  • Fresh mint leaves - 12
  • Walnuts - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Feta cheese - 1/2 cup, crumbled
  • Fresh figs - 12

Instructions

  1. Cut off the stems of the figs and slice off a small portion from the top to create a flat surface.
  2. Using a small spoon or your fingers, gently hollow out the center of each fig, creating a small cavity.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the feta cheese, honey, and chopped walnuts until well combined.
  4. Spoon the feta cheese mixture into each fig, filling the cavity.
  5. Gently press a fresh mint leaf on top of each stuffed fig.
  6. Arrange the stuffed figs on a serving platter and drizzle with a little extra honey, if desired.
