Fig and Ricotta Bruschetta

This delicious bruschetta features fresh figs, creamy ricotta cheese, and a drizzle of honey.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper - To taste
  • Salt - To taste
  • Balsamic glaze - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh basil leaves - 8
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Ricotta cheese - 1 cup
  • Fresh figs - 8
  • Baguette - 1

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  5. Spread a generous amount of ricotta cheese on each toasted baguette slice.
  6. Cut the fresh figs into quarters and place a quarter on top of each ricotta-covered baguette slice.
  7. Drizzle honey over the figs and ricotta.
  8. Garnish each bruschetta with a fresh basil leaf.
  9. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the bruschetta.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
