Crab Cake Dog

A delicious and unique twist on the classic hot dog, topped with a mini crab cake and tangy remoulade sauce.

Ingredients

  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Lettuce - 4 leaves
  • Remoulade sauce - To taste
  • Old bay seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Egg - 1
  • Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
  • Crab meat - 1 cup
  • Hot dog buns - 4
  • Hot dogs - 4

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, egg, bread crumbs, and Old Bay seasoning. Form into 4 small patties.
  2. Cook the hot dogs according to package instructions.
  3. While the hot dogs are cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Place a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato on each hot dog bun. Add a hot dog and top with a crab cake. Drizzle with remoulade sauce.
