Bok Choy and Mushroom Dumplings

These delicious dumplings are filled with a flavorful mixture of bok choy, mushrooms, and spices.

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Wonton wrappers - 24
  • Green onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Mushrooms - 1 cup, finely chopped
  • Bok choy - 2 cups, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the bok choy, mushrooms, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions. Mix well.
  2. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper.
  4. Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal.
  5. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  7. Add the dumplings and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown.
  8. Pour water into the skillet, cover, and steam for 8-10 minutes, until the dumplings are cooked through.
  9. Serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
