Let's Get Started

  1. In a non-stick pan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the condensed milk and egg yolks to the pan. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens and starts to come away from the sides of the pan.
  3. Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
  4. Grease your hands with cooking oil and shape the mixture into small balls or desired shapes.
  5. Roll the shaped yema balls in granulated sugar until fully coated.
  6. Place the coated yema balls in small paper cups or on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up before serving.
