Yaki Ramen
Yaki Ramen is a delicious stir-fried noodle dish with a savory sauce, vegetables, and your choice of protein.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Protein of choice (chicken, beef, shrimp, tofu) - 8 ounces, cooked and sliced
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Green onions - 4, chopped
- Cabbage - 2 cups, shredded
- Bell peppers - 1 large, thinly sliced
- Carrots - 1 large, julienned
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
Let's Get Started
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add carrots, bell peppers, cabbage, and green onions. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the cooked protein to the other side. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and protein. Stir to combine.
- Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
