Vegetable Fried Rice with Basmati Rice

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add diced carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Add frozen peas, diced bell peppers, and sliced green onions. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the cooked and cooled basmati rice to the other side.
  6. Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice, and season with salt and black pepper. Mix everything together and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
