Vegan Fried Rice

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Add diced carrots, frozen peas, and diced bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the cold cooked rice to the other side. Break up any clumps of rice with a spatula.
  5. Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice and vegetables. Stir well to combine and evenly distribute the seasonings.
  6. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the rice is heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
