Tuna Melt
This delicious tuna melt sandwich is made with tuna, melted cheese, and toasted bread.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Cheddar cheese - 4 slices
- Bread slices - 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Celery - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Red onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Canned tuna - 1 can (5 oz)
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, mix together the canned tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, red onion, celery, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the tuna mixture evenly onto two slices of bread.
- Top each slice with two slices of cheddar cheese.
- Place the remaining two slices of bread on top to form sandwiches.
- Spread butter on the outer sides of the sandwiches.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches in the skillet.
