Truffle Mac and Cheese Dog

A gourmet twist on a classic comfort food, combining the richness of truffle mac and cheese with the heartiness of a hot dog.

Ingredients - Serves 4

Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to make a roux, then gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cheese until melted. Stir in the truffle oil, salt, and pepper.
Add the cooked macaroni to the sauce and stir until well coated.
