Truffle Mac & Cheese
A luxurious twist on a comfort food classic, this truffle mac & cheese is creamy, cheesy, and infused with the earthy flavor of truffle.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup, grated
- Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Truffle oil - 2 tablespoons
- Gruyere cheese - 1 cup, shredded
- White cheddar cheese - 2 cups, shredded
- Milk - 2 cups
- All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Macaroni - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to make a roux, then gradually whisk in the milk. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
