Tomato Juice
Fresh and tangy tomato juice made from ripe tomatoes.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Celery stalks - 2, for garnish
- Ice cubes - As needed
- Tabasco sauce - Few drops
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Ripe tomatoes - 4 large
Let's Get Started
- Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
- In a blender, blend the tomatoes until smooth.
- Strain the tomato puree through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any seeds or pulp.
- Add lemon juice, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco sauce to the strained tomato juice. Stir well to combine.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the tomato juice over the ice.
- Garnish each glass with a celery stalk.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
