Tagliatelle Verde
Tagliatelle Verde is a classic Italian pasta dish made with fresh green pasta and a rich and creamy sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh basil - A handful, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Parmesan cheese - 1 cup, grated
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Green tagliatelle pasta - 400 grams
Let's Get Started
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tagliatelle and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the cream has thickened slightly.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked tagliatelle to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated in the sauce.
- Serve the pasta hot, garnished with the chopped basil.
