Suero Costeño
Suero Costeño is a traditional Colombian fermented milk product, similar to sour cream or yogurt, from the Caribbean region of the country. It's often used as a condiment or a dip.

- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Whole milk - 1 liter
Let's Get Started
- Pour the milk into a large glass jar.
- Add the lemon juice and salt, and stir until well combined.
- Cover the jar with a cloth and secure it with a rubber band.
- Leave the jar at room temperature for 24-48 hours, or until the milk has thickened to the consistency of yogurt.
- Once the suero is ready, it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
