Soy Sauce Fried Rice

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add diced carrots and frozen peas, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour beaten eggs into the empty space.
  5. Scramble the eggs until cooked through, then mix them with the vegetables.
  6. Add chilled cooked rice to the skillet and break up any clumps with a spatula.
  7. Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
