- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Saffron - A pinch
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Tomatoes - 2, chopped
- Red peppers - 2, sliced
- Potatoes - 4 large, peeled and cut into chunks
- Chicken - 500 grams, cut into chunks
- Lamb - 500 grams, cut into chunks
Let's Get Started
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the lamb and chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add the potatoes, red peppers, tomatoes, garlic, paprika, saffron, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
- Cover the pot and let it simmer for about 2 hours, or until the meat is tender and the flavors are well combined.
- Serve the Sofrit Pagès hot, with some crusty bread on the side.
