Shrimp and Scallop Udon
This delicious shrimp and scallop udon dish is made with thick udon noodles, succulent shrimp and scallops, and a flavorful broth.

- Black pepper - To taste

- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Chicken broth - 2 cups
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Mirin - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Scallops - 8 ounces
- Shrimp - 8 ounces, peeled and deveined
- Udon noodles - 8 ounces
Let's Get Started
- Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and scallops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they start to turn pink.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, mirin, fish sauce, and chicken broth.

- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the noodles are heated through.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve the shrimp and scallop udon in bowls, garnished with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
