Scalloped Potatoes
Creamy, cheesy, and delicious scalloped potatoes baked to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Cheddar cheese - 2 cups, shredded
- Milk - 2 cups
- Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Flour - 3 tablespoons
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Potatoes - 6 medium, peeled and thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Add milk, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils.
- In a greased baking dish, arrange half of the sliced potatoes. Pour half of the sauce over the potatoes.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes and sauce. Top with shredded cheese.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender and cheese is golden brown.
