Ingredients - Serves 6
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Jalapeno peppers - 2, seeded and chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced

Let's Get Started
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes, or until the skins start to peel.
- Remove the tomatoes from the boiling water and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to cool. Once cooled, peel off the skins and discard.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the peeled tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, jalapeno peppers, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and cumin. Blend until smooth.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Transfer the salsa to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or grilled meats.
