Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, mix the cocoa and sugar together.
  2. Melt the butter and add it to the cocoa and sugar mixture.
  3. Beat the egg and add it to the mixture along with the port wine or rum.
  4. Add the broken biscuits and mix well until all the biscuits are coated with the chocolate mixture.
  5. Shape the mixture into a salami shape and wrap it tightly in cling film.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until it is firm.
  7. Before serving, unwrap the chocolate salami and dust it with icing sugar.
