Ravioli Di Pesce
A delicious seafood ravioli dish with a rich tomato sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Basil - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Tomatoes - 2 cups, chopped
- For the sauce -
- Parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Mixed seafood - 1 cup
- For the filling -
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Eggs - 2
- Flour - 2 cups
- For the pasta -
Let's Get Started
- To make the pasta, combine the flour, eggs, and salt in a bowl. Knead until a dough forms, then let it rest for 30 minutes.
- To make the filling, sauté the seafood and garlic in olive oil until cooked. Stir in the parsley and set aside to cool.
- Roll out the pasta dough and cut into squares. Place a spoonful of the seafood filling in the center of each square, then fold over to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
- To make the sauce, sauté the tomatoes and garlic in olive oil until soft. Stir in the basil and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the ravioli in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then drain.
- Serve the ravioli with the tomato sauce.
